The CEF Annual Report
What a year this was for CEF!
2023 was a year of depth for the Coptic Educational Foundation. In a landscape of growing household financial insecurities, evolving university requirements, and increasing numbers of families immigrating to the US, CEF doubled down on our flagship services to support our community.
We continued to broaden our reach to support families through the process of preparing for college, navigating the complex maze of requirements and best practices, and creating compelling applications. We have made significant strides in engaging our communities earlier, with a 14% increase in the number of parents and children registered in our middle school workshops. The earlier we engage families, the better prepared they are to succeed in high school and college.
We are also proud to have hosted the largest Walk for Education event ever, with over 150 people in attendance! This event is a meaningful one because we bring together our youth, program sponsors, and volunteers all in one place in a spirit of fun, fellowship and service.
As we look to 2024, we are excited to broaden our impact as we continue to identify the needs of our community and look for ways to support our children in unlocking their academic and professional potential.
